Voice, accent and singing coaching tailored to you
I offer bespoke 1-2-1 vocal coaching for anyone who wants to better understand, develop or feel more confident using their voice. Sessions are completely personalised to you, your voice and what you would like to achieve. I work with people from a range of backgrounds and experience levels and you don't need to consider yourself a performer to benefit from voice coaching. Sessions are available online via Zoom, so you can work with me wherever you are based.
What can we work on?
Voice & Vocal Technique
Develop a better understanding of how your voice works and how to use it with greater ease and efficiency. We can explore breath, resonance, articulation, projection, vocal clarity, range and vocal stamina, depending on what you need.
Confidence & Communication
If you find yourself holding back, speaking too quietly, rushing, losing your voice in a group or feeling uncomfortable speaking in front of others, we can work on practical ways to feel more confident and at ease. This might be useful for presentations, meetings, teaching, interviews or just everyday communication!
Accent Coaching
Whether you're preparing for a role or audition, or simply looking to develop your accent skills, we can work towards making an accent feel natural and consistent. Sessions are tailored to you, using phonetics to break down sounds, rhythm and intonation where useful, alongside practical and creative exercises to help you explore and embody the accent.
Singing & Vocal Expression
With my background in musical theatre and singing, I can also work with you on singing technique, vocal confidence and expression. Sessions can be tailored to your experience, whether you're preparing a song, audition or simply want to feel more comfortable using your singing voice.
Voice-Over Coaching
As a professional voice-over artist, I can also help you develop your skills behind the microphone. Session can cover script preparation, microphone technique, finding a natural delivery, making vocal choices, character voice and understanding how your voice translates to a recording.
I don't believe there is one 'correct' way to use your voice.
I completed an MA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, building on my professional expereince as a voice-over artist, actor, singer and teacher. My training and professional experience allow me to combine the technical side of voice work with practical, creative approaches to help you find what works for you.
Sessions can be tailored to your individual goals, whether you're preparing for something specific or looking to develop your voice more generally. If you're not quite sure what you need, that's absolutely fine too. Get in touch and tell me a little bit about yourself and what you'd like to work on and we can work out what would be most useful for you!
